Digi Language Support (DLS) Services, a division of Asian Family Services, is a new digitally enabled service to trial the provision of digital language support services to primary and community care participating agencies. 

Purpose of the pilot project: The purpose of the pilot is for DLS to build evidence that the new DLS digital language support service concept will be able to improve access and participation of telehealth services and digital interpreting provided by primary and community care. Who are we seeking? We are seeking primary care and community service providers in the Greater Wellington region, including the Kapiti and the Wairarapa region, who currently provide community-based services and need access to digital interpreting services to better support communication with non-English speaking Asian clients.

Why participate? Your participation will help us build evidence that the DLS digital language support service concept can improve access and participation for our Asian communities to public, health and community services provided by primary and community care.  It will also help us improve the way we provide digital interpreting services, as well as face to face interpreting services after the pilot.

Will I be charged? No. Once we enrol you, you will not be charged for the use of digital language support services during your pilot phase.
