Information for prospective users

Digi Language Support (DLS) Services, a division of Asian Family Services, is a new digitally enabled service funded by the Ministry of Health to trial the provision of telehealth language support services to primary and community care participating agencies between 1 November 2021 and 31 March 2022. 

Purpose of the pilot project: The purpose of the pilot is for DLS to build evidence that the new DLS telehealth language support service concept will be able to improve access and participation of telehealth services provided by primary and community care. Who are we seeking? We are seeking primary and community care providers in the Auckland region, who currently provide telehealth services and need access to telehealth language support services to support communication with non-English speaking Asian clients.

Why participate? Your participation will help us build evidence that the DLS telehealth language support service concept can improve access and participation for your Asian communities to telehealth services provided by primary and community care.  It will also help us improve the way we provide telehealth language support services as the service expands to other languages post the pilot.

Will I be charged? No. You will not be charged for the use of the telehealth language support services during your pilot phase.
